Notice To Rahul Gandhi for Rs.500/- crores

Assam Gana Parishat sent a legal notice to All India Congress Committee Vice President Rahul Gandhi for Rs.500 crores for the damage made by him stating AGP having come to the Power with the help of revolutionaries.

AGP gave a 15 days' time to Rahul Gandhi to apologize failing which, AGP says, that a defamation case will be filed on him.  Prafulla Kumar Mohanta the AGP President also said that the comments of Rahul Gandhi was taken as a serious matter and had been consulting legal experts for their opinion on it.

The objections of AGP mounted up as Assam Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi endorsed the comments of Rahul Gandhi telling that it is correct that AGP has links with the insurgent group ULFA.

The matter came up with Wikileaks's publishing last month that Rahul told US diplomat in 2006 that his father Rajiv Gandhi gave an opportunity to the separatist group to form a Government in Assam and the same could be done in case of Hamas in USA too.
