Mercury soars in state, kills 25 so far

Temperature in the state has escalated like never before. In fact, the mercury levels in the state have been going over 43 degree Celsius for the past two days. In Adilabad district, as many as 25 persons have lost their lives due to sun stroke. Not even we are in the middle of the summer, this is just the beginning and we are even hearing sun stroke deaths.

While people are suffering from sun heat to the core, it's unfortunate to note frequent power cuts that too in the afternoon hours. People are literally criticizing the electricity department too. Anyway, Andhra Wishesh advices people to stay in their homes in the afternoon hours if possible. Also, it's advisable to put up wet grass mats to window trims to beat summer heat.

Also, always wear a cap when you get into the sun and avoid taking cold drinks and ice cream as they actually quench the thirst but add on to the problem. Take proper care of yourself this summer friends!
