Railway divisional engineers take out protests

Protests are something that would be taking place at many places, sometimes within organizations too. But rarely we across railway employees staging protests. If you have an argument that railway employees don't protest at all then we have railway employees in the state to prove the point. On Wednesday, divisional engineers across all railway boards have staged protests at their offices demanding that their problems should be solved.

Out of various demands they raised, the prime ones include increasing wages to providing gazetted officer status. Whatever it might be, the sources said that these protests would not effect the train schedules and passengers needn't worry over the same. The observers have said that railways should ensure that employees don't stage such protests as they would create unnecessary panic and confusion amongst passengers.
