Balakrishna adds glamor to Babu's home town

Actor and TDP leader Nandamuri Balakrishna is all set to conquer the hearts of the people of Narawari Palli, the home town of the former Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu. The versatile actor surprised the village folks by participating in their festive celebrations.

He and his family attended the local shrine to offer their prayers and later took part in the local festivities. They were staying put at Babu's house. Large number of fans greeted the star at the village, right from the time he arrived at the village.

Sankranti celebrations in Narawari Palli commenced with Bhogi today. The village which was  basically dependent on the  agrarian economy celebrated, to appease the Gods after a bumper harvest.

Tomorrow, the celebrations include, a special offering is made to the Gods called Chakra Pongal (sweet rice). After the English New Year this is the first festival that includes joyous celebrations filled with sumptuous delicacies in most villages of the state and largely across the country.

Nata Simha would be staying in the village to celebrate the occasion along with his family. The actor and the TDP supremo are related in dual ways.

Earlier, he also expressed his interests in joining the party, founded by his father late NTR. Baliyya is to contest as an MLA in the 2014 General Elections, claimed close sources. (Wishesh AarKay)
