TDP activists have today staged a massive protest at Narsaraopeta of Guntur districts against the alleged irregularities in elections to cooperative institutions. Even after the police imposing CrPC section 144, the activists are staging protests. Therefore, the police registered cases against several leaders including former minister Kodela Siva Prasad. The police said that they would arrest the leaders and produce them before the court.

The police even resorted to lathi charge when a team of TDP leaders under the leadership of Kodela Siva Prasad tried to lay seige to minister Kasu Krishna Reddy. Kodela Siva Prasad was said to have received harsh treatment from the police when he was shifted to the police station where he fainted.
