Govt looking into Gadkari's dubious funds

Nitin Gadkari has been making it to he headlines with the allegations framed against him of the dubious funds that have been making it to the BJP supremo's companies. The government's corporate affairs ministry today said that it has been looking into the investments that go into Mr. Gadkari's companies.

"The matter is being looked into," a senior corporate affairs ministry official said answering the questions on the probe into allegations against Gadkari.

Earlier there have been many shameful details that have been unearthed after the probe against the Maharashtra-based Purti Power and Sugar Ltd which is headed by Gadkari was made.

Veerappa Moily, the corporate affairs ministry has earlier mentioned that the Registrars of Companies are going to inquire into the allegations.

These allegations coma as a big blow to Nitin Gadkari who was earlier all set for the second term. He could well be dethroned with such strong allegations and the probe proving them.
His trip to New Delhi today was also canceled on account of his ill-health.
"Nitinji has cancelled his routine visit to Delhi since he is indisposed due to exertion yesterday on Vijayadashmi," a member of his personal staff mentioned. It is believed that this routine visit to Delhi was to meet the top BJP leaders, who earlier had his back in such troubled times, and discuss the further course of action with them.
