A gang of three were taken under control while they were trying to kidnap a just born from a government hospital in Visakhapatnam. The hospital staff spoiled the bid and handed over the gang to the police, who arrived on time. The incident occurred today at the KGH in the city.

A three member gang which had two ladies and one man tried to steal a baby from the neo - natal ward. Alert staff intervened and spoiled the bid. They  caught up with the gang and handed over the members to the police.

However unlike other hospitals where  many hospital staff are  lackadaisical on the visitors to the wards, KGH was totally different. They kept a tab on who was with the patient and who was wandering in the wards under suspicious conditions. This agile attitude only saved the day for the hospital. And a mother was saved from the unwanted agony. The incident revealed the caring security in the hospital that made it difficult for an outsider to steal a baby. (With inputs from internet-AW AarKay)
