TRS leaders arrested for Vidyut protests

Telangana Rashtra Samithi leaders who started their protest against the erratic power outage in the Telangana region were arrested. The leaders staged a protest in front of the office of the Transco headquarters in the state capital. They said that the party was seriously condemning the Power distribution wing of not providing adequate power to the farmers. They said even seven hours of power was not provided for agriculture. In that case how could the land be irrigated.

The protest headed by the Siddipet MLA Harish Rao started of this morning peacefully. Protestors condemned the Government for the power outage that was ruining the agriculture segments. As time passed more and more protestors gathered at the venue. The MLA along with his supporters were stealthily planning to enter the Vidyan Soudha Complex, when the security people intervened.  Police arrested the leaders and many protestors.
