Operation Samba is going on by the state police and the ant-naxal forces to nab one Psycho Samba, who gave a slip to Guntur police after he was nabbed three days ago. For months together  Rachakonda Sambasiva Rao alias Psycho Samba had been attacking women and leaving them physically injured.  When he was arrested three days ago, he was shifted to Mangalagiri police station. The police said he was normal and not insane as suspected. He was, however, mentally disturbed, confirmed the police.

He was being shifted from Guntur to Vijayawada for the recovery of the gold on Thursday and he reportedly jumped off the running jeep and fled from the spot. Nearly 200 policemen have been searching for Psycho Samba since then. The police suspected that Samba might have broken the chain on his legs after they saw the chain and stains of blood in the forest. They, however, said the handcuffs remained in tact.
