CM gets nod to fill nominated posts

Chief minister Mr. Kirankumar Reddy held a 10-minute meeting with the congress president Sonia Gandhi in Delhi today.

Reports said Kirankumar sought the permission of the high command to expand the Cabinet by dropping some ministers and inducting fresh faces and also fill the nominated posts in various corporations.

Sonia reportedly asked him to think of the full fledged cabinet expansion only after the budget session of the assembly but advised him to go ahead with the filling of the nominated posts.

Before meeting Sonia, Kirankumar met with the Union Minister and in-charge of AP congress affairs Mr Ghulam Nabi Azad for more than two hours and discussed the issue of cabinet expansion.
The CM was also said to have offered explanation to Azad on the complaints lodged by some congress MPs and ministers Botsa Satyanarayana and DL Ravindra Reddy on some issues including Rajiv Yuva Kiranalu. (JUBS)
