Cine actor and former BJP leader Mr. Krishnam Raju said today he would return to active politics soon but declined to name the party he would join.
Addressing media persons at his residence on his 72nd birthday in Hyderabad, Krishnam Raju expressed dissatisfaction over the performance of all political parities in the state and said all parties are behaving as if they are bereft of policies and principles.
Asked which political party he would join, he refused to name it saying no political party in the state has been functioning in a systematic matter. “It is difficult to say which party is functioning better,” he said, adding that all parties are similar in displaying lack of ideology.
“What is the hurry? I will reveal the name of the political party I will join later,” Krishnam Raju said.
Krishnam Raju, after quitting the BJP, had joined the PRP launched by mega star Chiranjeevi but came out of it after developing differences with him.
Speaking about the increasing cost of film production in Tollywood, he said it won’t be good for the industry growth if the cost of production is not limited. Speaking about the film career of Prabhas, Krishnam Raju said the once blockbuster movie ‘Bhakta Kannappa’ in which he acted in the lead role will be remade with Prabhas as hero. (JUBS)
