Swami China Jeer, who few days ago opened a Pandora’s Box by likening a visit to Tirumala to that of a recreational club, is in the news again.
Participating in a programme at Vijayawada this morning, the seer charged the TTD administration with violating all sacred traditions on the Seven Hills and throwing away to the winds the sanctity of the Lord.
“All types of violations have been taking place on the Seven Hills in the name of VIPs, security and comforts. This is equivalent to denigrating the God himself,” the Swami charged.
He said he would undertake Yatra to the Tirumala Hills on Feb 3 to highlight the violations and create awareness among the devotees. The Swami had created a sensation two months ago by charging that a visit to Tirumala has been giving the feeling to the devotees that they are visiting a club due to many violations there. (JUBS)
