New facts have emerged about the Sundur Power Company’s payment of Rs.10 lakh salary per month to its managing director Mr YS Jaganmohan reddy who is now the YSR Congress party president.

Generally, corporate companies pay hefty pay packets to their MDs but they have to take permission from the Union Government.

In the letter seeking permission from the Centre to pay such huge salary to Jagan, the company’s Executive Director Mr Harish C. Kamarthy mentioned Jagan’s qualification as MBA but Jagan in his election affidavit during the Kadapa by poll said his highest qualification was B.Com.

One of these must be the wrong and Jagan must have lied in his election affidavit or Harish C Kamarthy must have stated lies about Jagan’s qualification in his letter to the Centre to get sanction to pay such a big amount to him.

In his letter, Kamarthy also said that Jagan had excellent relations with Government organizations and banks and could bring loans at lower interest rates. Besides, Kamarthy said that Jagan was well experienced as an industrialist in the power, mines and basis infrastructure fields.

Jagan must have had good relations with government agencies and organizations due to his father’s position as CM of the state. But surely his experience as an industrialist was nil when the letter was written to the Centre in 2006.
