3 TDP MLAs deny joining TRS

Denying media reports that they would join the TRS in a day or two, TDP MLAs Mr Hanumantha Rao Shinde from Nizamabad district, Suddala Devaiah from Karimnagar district and Jaipal Yadav from Mahaboobnagar district asserted today that they would remain in TDP only under any circumstances.

“We will not leave TDP under any circumstances and there is no question of joining the TRS or any other party” Shinde and others told journalists in Hyderabad.

Earlier reports said that the TDP MLAs along with another MLA Mr Ramulu from Mahaboobnagar district held a secret meeting with TRS president KCR on Tuesday and offered to join the TRS. The MLAs however denied the reports.

However, Mr Ramulu was not present at their media conference giving room for media to speculate that he may join the TRS.

TRS in recent times has been targeting the congress and TDP MLAs and trying to woo them into its fold to go for by elections and increase its numbers in the assembly in the name of T agitation.

In the initial batch, four TDP MLAs Ramesh Rao, Pocharam Srinivasa Reddy, Gampa Govardhan and Jogu Ramanna had quit TDP and joined the TRS. In the second installment, three congress MLAs including the former Minister Jupally Krishna Rao have recently joined the TRS.
