As the mass general strike began this morning and the T sentiment once again gripped the Telangana areas, pro-Telangana supporters today descended on a cinema shooting spot and forcibly stopped the shooting of a film in which actor Ravi Teja is playing the lead role.
The T elements suddenly appeared at the Kavadipalli village in Hayatnagar Mandal on the outskirts of Hyderabad where the shooting was in progress and raised the slogans of Telangana. They demanded that the shooting be suspended immediately and some members in the film unit tried to question the agitators. However, better sense prevailed on the film unit which stopped the shooting to avoid a confrontation with the agitators.
The agitators have also forced the hero Ravi Teja to say ‘Jai Telangana’ repeatedly. When the police ultimately reached the spot, the unit was packing off after deciding to halt the shooting for the day. Later, police escorted out Ravi Teja safely from the mob.
