Jagan aiming at patch-up with congress

JaganHinting he was ready for a patch up with the congress to come out of the CBI web in which he is presently entangled, YSR Congress party president Mr YS Jaganmohan Reddy said today he was willing to have a pact with the congress-led UPA government at the Centre.

Speaking to well known journalist Mr Rajdeep Sardesai, Editor-in-chief of the CNN-IBN news channel in an exclusive interview in Delhi today, Jagan said he would not come back to the congress party fold.

Jagan also firmly ruled out a tie up with BJP or BJP-led NDA at any point of time, pre-poll or post poll. He however expressed his readiness to have a tie-up with the congress-led UPA.

He further accused the congress leadership of targeting his father’s legacy and his political party, YSR Congress.

Since BJP stands for a different ideology, there won’t be any political pact with that party at any point of time, Jagan told in response to a query by Rajdeep Sardesai. “I however have a lot of respect for senior BJP leader Sushma Swaraj,” Jagan said, adding he had never met her till now. “I will soon meet her.”
