Jagan group lobbies with Governor

PilliSubhash25 of the 29 MLAs who resigned in support of YSR Congress president YS Jaganmohan reddy a few days ago today met the Governor Mr ESL Narasimhan and complained to him that CBI was being used as a tool of victimization by the congress government in the state.

The MLAs, who resigned opposing what they called the inclusion of late YSR’s name in the FIR against Jagan in the alleged illegal wealth case, told him that the state government had degraded the prestige of YSR by allowing the CBI to include his name in the FIR.

“On the other hand, the congress government has launched witch-hunting against Jagan as part of its vindictive nature and attitude,” they told Narasimhan. “The CBI is only a tool in the process.”

The MLAs led by former minister Mr Pilli Subhash Chandra Bose alleged that the Centre has been using the CBI to suppress the opposition parties and requested the Governor to use his good offices with the Centre to ensure that the investigating agency is not misused.

“If victimization of Jagan is not stopped, people will revolt,” they told the Governor. The MLAs also requested him to direct the Speaker to accept their resignations.
