The special court dealing with the anti-corruption cases at Hyderabad today gave a clean chit to the former chief minister Mr Rosaiah in the alleged Ameerpet land scam.

The court in its order stated that there was no proof to suggest that the former chief minister had resorted to illegalities in the allotment of land as alleged by the petitioner. The court gave the orders on the petition filed by advocate Mr. Sriranga rao who charged that Rosaiah allotted land worth crores of rupees to a person at very cheap rates.

The ACB, which investigated into the advocate Mr. Sriranga rao’s allegations on the orders of the court, today submitted its final report based on which the court gave the ruling. The ACB has said in its report that neither the officials nor Mr Rosaiah has resorted to misuse of power and urged the court to dismiss the allegations leveled by Mr Sriranga rao.

Based on the report of the ACB investigating team, the court dismissed the allegations and gave a clean chit to Rosaiah.
