A 16-member delegation of the congress leaders of the Seema Andhra area will leave for Delhi on August 10 to participate in talks on the Telangana issue with the Union Minister and in-charge of the party affairs in AP Mr Ghulam Nabi Azad.

It might be said that Azad has concluded talks on the T issue with the Telangana congress leaders in the last week of July and promised to take up the talks with the congress leaders of the Seema and Andhra separately.

However, Minister and convener of the Samaikhyandhra (united AP) JAC Mr Sailajanath told media persons in Hyderabad this afternoon that both the Seema and Andhra areas will have only one delegation and will go together. “We have formed a 16-member delegation for the purpose,” said the minister.

The minister said that a resolution for the formation of Telangana state would be defeated even at this stage if it is introduced in the state assembly.
