Jagan men meet Sonia, plead for mercy

Amidst reports of congress leadership preparing to axe Konda Surekha, former minister and staunch supporter of the former Kadapa MP YS Jaganmohan reddy, some of the MLAs Former ministers Silpa Mohan reddy, Peddireddi Ramachandra reddysupporting Jagan today met the party president Sonia Gandhi in Delhi and made it clear to her that they are always with the party.

Former ministers Silpa Mohan reddy and Peddireddi Ramachandra reddy met Sonia Gandhi at her residence and explained to her that they were opposing Kirankumar reddy as the chief minister but supporting her leadership.

“We never opposed the party or your leadership but we are opposed to Kiran leadership in the state. We are never unhappy with the party,” both of them are said to have told her. The two former ministers, who lost their ministerial jobs after Kirankumar reddy became the chief minister, met Sonia soon after the PCC chief D. Srinivas had a meeting with her on going ahead with disciplinary action against some of the MLAs supporting Jagan.

Both the baiters of the chief minister left the place without uttering a word to the media waiting out side the residence of congress president after their discussions with her.
