T ruckus disrupts Lok Sabha on second day

Telangana issue, Lok Sabha, ruckus over Telangana issue, Lok Sabha proceedings, KCR and Vijayasanthi As the assembly, like the Lok Sabha! TRS members KCR and Vijayasanthi, along with the T region congress and TDP MPs, disrupted the proceedings of the Lok Sabha for the second successive day today on the issue of Telangana.

The din created by the members who raised pro-Telangana slogans forced the Speaker Mira Kumar to adjourn the House for 15 minutes.

Soon after the house assembled in the morning, KCR and Vijayasanthi stormed into the well of the house asking for permission to lodge their protest on the silence of the government towards the creation of the separate state of Telangana.

Even as the two members raised slogans in favour of T state, congress members of the T region came into the house covering their mouths with black bands to indicate that they were being gagged by the government and by the party leadership.

Mira Kumar, after adjourning the house, called them to her chamber and warned them against sporting black bands as it violated the rules of the house and would lead to their suspension.

CPI leader Gurudas Dasgupta was also seen advising the congress members against covering their mouths with black bands as it violated house rules.

When the house reassembled again, most of the T congress members were not seen in the house but the two TRS members, KCR and Vijayasanthi resumed their seats.

They tried in vain to raise the Telangana issue but soon walked out of the house along with the two TDP members raising pro-Telangana slogans as Speaker did not allow them to speak.
