TRS men attack JP man at Siddipet

TRS, Lok Satta Medak district president, Tummalapalli SrinivasHours after the Lok Satta chief and Kukatpalli MLA Jaya Prakash Narayana was attacked in the assembly premises this morning for his remarks against the errant behaviour of the TRS members in the assembly during the Governor speech, TRS activists attacked Lok Satta president of Medak district Mr Tummalapalli Srinivas with sticks this afternoon at Siddipet in Karimnagar district.

Srinivas was hospitalized immediately as his condition was stated to be serious after T elements beat him up with sticks.

After coming to know of the attack on JP, Mr Srinivas and his party activists sat on a silent dharna at the Ambedkar statue in Siddipet wearing black badges and holding placards. Suddenly, more than 50 activists descended on the scene carrying sticks and attacked Srinivas and his supporters indiscriminately.

After the attack, the TRS activists fled the scene and the local shopkeepers took the responsibility of taking Srinivas to a hospital.
