Novotel Hyderabad Convention Center organized grape stomping function at The Square in association with Big Banyan Tree. It is a fun that excites people of all ages when they crush the grapes with their barefoot to the tunes of crushing and also joining in singing.

The participants were explained of the variety of grapes and the one that is suitable for making wines. Then baskets of grapes were brought to be crushed by the participants by stepping into them barefooted. The winner would be the group that could extract more grape juice in the process that is filled with joy and fun.

Kilos of grapes were crushed after which the guests were offered the delicacies of Cajun vegetable skewers, Mushroom cocktail salad, Shrimp and avocado salad, Sushi, Coq-au-vin, Dolmades, Fruit zabaglione, Pumpkin cheesecake, Array of Grills and barbeque etc.

Stomp, stomp, stomp, hop, hop, hop!  Do not mind your age and gender get into the basket of grapes and crush them to juice.  It is all fun stored in a barrel for you to bring out!

The extracted juice is not for human consumption or for making wine.  It will simply go to fertilize the farms.
