Next, split in the Telugu film industry - Mega family in trouble

We seem to need no provocation to fight. The announcement of Telangana also created rifts within the Telugu Film Industry. Next, actors and technicians want a separate chamber in the Cine family to address their issues. Division of the brotherhood is deeper than it appears.

Actors like Srihari and Nitin belong to Telangana. Now that its a new state, they and Andhra actors seem like outsiders to each other. It is only up to the industry loyals to make each other comfortable. As 'divided' is the slogan in the present time, we can only hope our beloved Telugu film fraternity does not take it too hard.

Meanwhile, the Mega family is already having a hard time. The family has some of the top actors of the industry including Pawan Kalyan, Ram Charan and Allu Arjun. The first two have very important films coming up for release. However, Chiranjeevi, who rocked the audiences in his day, is now treading on sharp rocks. His disappointing stand on the cries of United Andhra supporters has not gone down well with those in Andhra.

The Tourism Minister has apparently told Sonia Gandhi to put the party's interests forward, as its survival is of utmost priority. He also spoke about the people, but that got lost in the noise of his disappointment. Angered at his approach, leaders in West Godavari claim to boycott his family's films in the future. Even staunch supporters of the Mega family might find it hard to keep their loyalty.

Be that as it may, threats will probably not affect the next two Mega releases, Powerstar's Attarintiki Daredi and Ram Charan's Yevadu. Or will it? Only time will tell. Top-Actors

The rest of the Telugu Cine fraternity are also feeling the tension of the decision. Many celebrities from the Telugu Film Industry have stayed away from speaking on the issue. It may now be occasion to do so. Community feelings have a large influence on how movies fare at the box office. Film makers and actors are rightfully anxious of the proceedings.

Andhra Pradesh has ceased to be as we knew it. Fan following may also change from how it was. Be it the Mega family or the other top stars, everyone has to do something about the Telugu film Industry's future.
