TDP repays Vijayamma in her own coins!

TDP-repays-01The major Opposition party in the state Telugu Desam was keen on knowing what transpired between the YSRCP leader Vijayamma and the President Shri Pranab Mukherjee. Senior leaders of the party were critical over the meeting. They posed various questions over the issue. The party MLA and senior leader Payyavula Keshav questioned the YSRCP over the meet. He asked whether the strong lady of the YSRCP met the Prez to win favors for voting him. This was like repaying the strong lady in her own coins say critics.

TDP-repays-01Keshav went on further to ask if the leader tried to influence the investigations on her son's disproportionate assets case It may be noted that CBI that was investigating the case had taken control of the party Supremo Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy, in the DA case. In fact just a day before the Supreme Court judgment on the bail plea of Jagan was due, senior TDP MPs met the union minister P Chidambaram. Incidentally the apex court's decision on the request was negative.

TDP-repays-01To these unrelated incidents, YSRCP leader Vijayamma reacted sharply and said that the TDP was nexus with the ruling Congress. The nexus between Congress and TDP has come to the fore with Enforcement Directorate (ED) issuing orders attaching the assets of Sakshi Media House hours after TDP leaders meeting Union Finance Minister P Chidambaram and this move comes on the eve of the bail petition hearing by Supreme Court, lamented the YSRCP leader Vijayamma.

TDP-repays-01jpgThe statement released at the press conference by the Honorary President Vijayamma. 'At a time when multitude of humanity is waiting for the apex court order to give bail to YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, TDP leaders meet P Chidambaram and the ED, which works under Finance Ministry, issues orders attaching the assets of Sakshi group on the grounds that two pharma companies, Hetero and Aurobindo have invested in YS Jagan Mohan Reddy's company after being benefited from his father YSR government.'

TDP-repays-01However the apex court agreed with the arguments with the CBI that as the case was sensitive, granting bail to Jagan, might give a chance to foil the evidences.

TDP-repays-01Based on this allegation by Vijayamma,  today the TDP had raised a hue over the meet with President. On the other hand Vijayamma is understood to have complained to the President about what she described as CBI's vindictive attitude towards Jagan. She is also to have appealed to the President to intervene in the matter saying that she was afraid Telugu Desam Party and Congress had joined hands to damage Jagan's political future.

TDP-repays-01Well such political blaming game seems to take center stage off late. The triangular contest in the state is taking a firm shape with the battle lines drawn up by the Congress and the TDP. However the YSRCP is a little slower on the issue, but sentiments riding high, favour the party. (With inputs from internet-AW AarKay)
