Businessman penalized for overtaking Robert Vadra

A Delhi-based businessman was penalized on the charges of rash driving and also overtook the car of Robert Vadra, son-in-law of Congress party president Sonia Gandhi yesterday in the national capital. The motorist is identified as Saurabh Rastogi, who is a resident of Pashchim Vihar area, was coming from Lajpat Nagar and was going to Moti Mills in his Maruti Ritz car.

According to the Delhi police, Mr. Rastogi dangerously swirled the car and overtook Vadra's car. The security personnel of Vadra's informed the traffic police about this incident and Mr. Rastogi was caught by the traffic police and was served fine.

The incident took place in the jurisdiction of Amar Colony Police Station in South-East Delhi when Mr Vadra was coming from Okhla in his car.
