Kiran Bedi wants sting operation to be taken as suo motu

The top news channel's sting operation on Wednesday on the way PG medical seats are being sold at many colleges in the country much before the exam results are out has created uproar across the country. The former IPS official and first woman cop, Kiran Bedi urged the Supreme Court to take the suo motu cognizance of the sting operation. She has also held the bureaucracy responsible for not setting up ample of medical colleges in the country.

On the other hand, the union health minister Ghulam Nabi Azad has asked Medical Council of India to take necessary action against those PG medical colleges that were selling the medical seats in black.
