Anna University re-exam after Q-paper leak

Colleges recognized by the Anna University have been instructed to conduct the ‘Electronic Device and Circuits’ examination on July 31. The exam for the first year was conducted, earlier on June 29. Students of computer science, Information Technology, Electronics and Communication Engineering and Bio-medical engineering took the exam. However, all of them have to take up this re-exam again on the scheduled day. While the University has not ascertained reasons for this re-exam, many believe that this could have been due to an alleged leakage of the question paper.

EDC is considered as the toughest exam for the students and most have taken extra classes to appear for the exam. However, this reschedule irks many who claim innocent. Student’s claim that many were touting that the question paper was available on the net the previous night, but few considered it as the real one. In most cases, EDC the most dreaded subject is given maximum attention in the second semester of the first year. Many have failed in this subject say college staff, earlier.
