Maoists have blasted off a railway track and a bridge in the early hours of Wednesday in Jharkhand. And last night they blasted a mini bus killing a cop and injuring several others. The incident occurred in Topchachi police station limits in  Dhanbad district. The sources have said that the injured have been rushed to the nearby hospitals. The condition of two persons was said to be critical.

It may be noted that Maoists called for a bandh in five states against the conviction of five of their team members by a court in Uttar Pradesh.
