Minors become vulnerable to sex predators because of their adolescence and innocence. Probe must be done in this case on this angle also.

In an unfortunate incident in the Mussoorie town near Dehra Dun a sixteen year old minor girl delivered a baby girl on Friday, both of them are hale and healthy. But the incident is termed as unfortunate as the girl is studying in Ninth standard and is staying in a hostel of the Central government-run school for Tibetans in Mussoorie.

The girl claims that it could be due a boy who she befriended during her vacations at Dharamsala in Himachal Pradesh, in June last year. Police have been reported about the delivers. The parents have also informed about the delivery. As of now no complaint has been made formally on the issue. Police are trying to contact the boy over the issue. But probe is also being carried out whether any employee in the hostel is involved in the issue and pressurized the girl to be silent.

The girl was admitted into the hospital after she complained of severe stomach pain. Police are also investigating the role of the school and hostel authorities to find out why they hid the pregnancy of the girl. (With inputs from internet: AarKay)
