This is actually a decent flick that you can watch at the cinemas and not wait for the DVDs to come out. However, that being said, we audience are greedy and expect a lot more from Kabir Khan, Salman Khan, and the sizzling Kat. With such a deadly combination we sure expect a lot of intense action and a taut story with no slacks. However, Kabir Khan fails to deliver as his plot has a number of loopholes. They may not be a serious issue for a casual movie goer though. And be advised, ISI is not involved in the plot as rumored and clarified by the director, Kabir himself.

Knowing that this is a movie from the banner,Yash Raj Films, you can expect enough action and romance to make you feel that you have watched a good movie. What disappointed us was the movie could have been a little shorter. It seemed to be stretched to a unacceptable length which also had pointed out to few other flaws in the plot of the movie.

Analysis :

Jism 2

Cinematography is better than you expect, and doesn't let to take a power nap or a loo break. With Wajid-Sajid guest compositions in the movie and Sohail Sen's mesmerizing tunes, the movie has been a musical hit already.

Though the concept of using a love story with a spy thriller movie, very much akin to the James Bond series without the gadgets, is quite enticing, it has a few flaws that could leave you a little disappointed. Tiger is initially depicted as a spy who was not entirely capable of delivering but there was no proper conclusion as to what happens. Tiger turns a rouge agent later but still RAW decides to help him just to please the audience. Zoya and Tiger are shown running in numerous occasions. Okay, Kabir Khan, we get it; they are in love. Could we please make it a little shorter or add a little masala?

Also, Salman's character is much more of a superhero rather than a spy. While the editing on screen was good, the visual effects remain below the acceptable standards to the point of choppiness at times.

The dialogues however are commendable and Salman does a good job delivering on screen. The humor touch would tickle your funny bones.

Though it was launched on August 15, it doesn't have any controversial and unnecessary jingoistic theme that is directed against Pakistan or any other nation.

Julius Packiam’s background score is just about fine.

Performance :

Jism 2

The action scenes were screened so well that you would be at the edge of your chair for quite a few scenes. This could also be among Salman Khan's best performances but definitely not perfect as we can spot him in a bunch of scenes searching for the right expression.

Bubbly Katrina, as Zoya, does justice to her roles with an applause deserving action and emotional expressions. She definitely has been among the best actresses today with her hardwork. Ranvir Shorey is also exceptionally good for the short time he appears on the screen while Girish Karnad, who played Shenoy has also done his part in the movie to keep it running smoothly.

Though Ranvir Shorey doesn’t have much screen time as Tiger’s comrade Gopi, he is wonderful in his role. Girish Karnad performs well as Tiger’s boss, Shenoy.

Final Word:For fans, do watch the movie as you wouldn't notice the long gaps like other people would. Oh! And yes Salman does show off his macho muscular body and is seen without his shirt as you can expect from such a role.
