Ante Sundaraniki starts on a slow note and the director takes ample time to reveal the story. The first half is just passable with enough dose of entertainment and it doesn't narrate much about the plot. It is the performances of Nani and Nazriya that make the first half passable. Close to 15 minutes of first half can be chopped off. The characters of the lead actors and their families are well narrated and there is enough fun around them. The songs are shot well though the music will not appeal to everyone. The interval portions are interesting and the first half of Ante Sundaraniki makes a decent watch and is a mixed bag.

The emotional thread is related to the families and the film is well balanced so that it would appeal to the youth and the family crowds. The climax portions take the film to the next level and it is thoroughly impressive. The songs are shot and placed well. On the whole, the second half of Ante Sundaraniki makes a good watch and is quite impressive. The lengthy runtime of Ante Sundaraniki is the only barrier for the film and the entertainment, performances are the major highlights of the film.
