Baar Baar Dekho Story
Baar Baar Dekho is the story of Jai Verma (Sidharth Malhotra) and Diya Kapoor (Katrina Kaif) who happened to be childhood friends. Jai happens to be an ambitious mathematician and Diya is an artist who dreams of becoming Mrs Verma. Jai feels trapped in their relationship right at the time the wedding is about to happen. He feels that his married life will have a huge impact on his career after which the time travelling twist comes into the plot. Watch the film to know about the complete story.
Baar Baar Dekho Analysis
The first half of Baar Baar Dekho starts with a bang. The first half an hour of the film looks extremely racy, convincing and entertaining. However the movie takes an ugly dip there after and never tries to recover back. The entertainment has been decent and the songs have been shot extremely well. The performances by the lead actors have been extremely convincing and on the whole the complete first half of Baar Baar Dekho has been decent pinning huge hopes on the second half.
The second half of the film has been filled with repeated episodes and the humour, entertainment dips down completely. The actual message to be conveyed has not been revealed in the right way which makes the second half of the film fall flat. The climax episodes look decent however there are many twists that fail to impress the audience. The entire second half of the film has been extremely predictable.
Performance
Sidharth Malhotra has been extremely convincing and decent as Jai. He improved his acting skills by miles and his performance along with his expressions need a special mention. Katrina Kaif has been extremely decent and impressive. Her glamorous side is the major highlight of Baar Baar Dekho and Kat is stupendous on screen. All the other actors have been decent in their assigned roles.
The story of Baar Baar Dekho has been derived from many Hollywood movies and it has been impressive. The screenplay and the dialogues have not been taken enough care of. The dose of drama has been huge and the audience expect some decent love making scenes which makes a huge difference. The songs have been shot well and the music has been apt. The cinematography has been eye catchy and the production values have been lavish. Nitya Mehra comes out with an engaging and convincing script but the execution will leave the film below the expectations.

Baar Baar Dekho is one time watch movie unlike its name.
