Story

The story opens to a brilliant background message by Prakash Raj in the typical Trivikram style. And the words..."Life aneydi highway...gelupu anedi one way...short cuts ki no way". Strong message that talks about the whole film in simple words, marks the versatility of the director.

A happy go lucky urbanite, Ravi (Allu Arjun) is always on the look out to make big money in the right way, ofcourse. His attempt to reap Rs one lakh from Rs 10, 000 given by his father (Tanikalla Bharani) leads him to discovering a massive plan to loot Rs 1,500 Cr by Bittu (Sonu Sood). Ravi reveals the fact to ACP Sitaram (Rajendra Prasad) who is on a trail of the looters. In the process Bittu is arrested and in the melee his brother, Shafique killed by Ravi who inturn saves the ACP.

The looted money is secretly stored in a dump yard by Shafique, before his death. The main man behind the bank robbery is MLA Varada Rajulu (Kota) helps Bittu escape. And the both are looking out to avenge Ravi. The rest of the story revolves around how Ravi overcomes Bittu and gets him rearrested with his wits. Pelli-choopulu scene between Brahmanandam and Hema, is the most hilarious moment in the film, which shall be remembered for sometime from now.

Analysis :

Julaayi review

The two personalities, one on screen and the other off screen have played a key role in the movie. While the dialogues written by director Trivikram Srinivas undoubtedly had punch, when they were delivered by Allu Arjun, people were literally overwhelmed. Audience jumped out of their seats and wooed in excitement each time delivered a powerful dialogue. Dialogues apart, the music was exceptionally good. Thanks to Devi Sri Prasad (DSP) for some good songs. Cinematography by noted personalities, Chota K Naidu and Shyam K Naidu will supposedly receive critical acclaim as audience enjoyed watching each and every bit of the film and cinematography definitely played a key role.

Not to forget the costumes of the movie. Allu Arjun and Ileana's outfits were good and so were the outfits of Rajendra Prasad.

Performance :

Julaayi review

Needless to mention the acting of Allu Arjun, who got appreciation from film critics for his marvelous acting in Arya, Happy and Vedam. So, without any doubt, Allu Arjun gave his best and no other actor would have done justice to Ravi's character other than Allu Arjun. Ileana improved a lot and her acting was much better compared to her other films. Rajendra Prasad too was hillarious. Other actors—Sonu Sood, Kota Srinivasa Rao, Tanikella Bharani and Brahmanandam performed well.

Final Word:  Julayi is a stylish family entertainer
