‘Orange’ Movie Review

Director Bhaskar, still basking in the glory of his ‘Bommarillu’, churns out an interesting and a moderately ramcharan latest flick orange review, orange movie reviewdifferent romantic love story known as ‘orange’. It is a bold attempt on the director’s part to work on such a script and really a gigantic task for an artiste like Ram Charan to take up such a challenging role. Coming as it did after the super duper success of Magadheera which has shown Ram Charan as an out and out action hero, Bhaskar shows him as a lover boy committed to certain facts of life in this movie.

The story:

The story circles around the hero who thinks he was blessed with the kind of shrewdness that makes any girl fall in love with him and goes on showing his skills practically in case several girls but without making any commitment to any one.

He is of course interested in real love also and finds Genelia at last in the city of Sydney but is not sure in ascertaining she is the person he wanted and when he becomes sure that she is the person, he reveals to her certain hard facts about love.

Not willing to lie, he reveals that he had several girl friends too. But what worries Genelia most is the bold and daring statement made by Ram Charan about love.

Ram Charan, being such a straightforward and outspoken person, tells her that the real love does not last long between couples and after a certain period it evaporates and to make it sustainable for long, people indulge in all sorts of mistakes and resort to lies also sometimes.

Genelia however believes that love lasts for long and it is ever lasting. But she faces with the dilemma of taking the hard facts as explained by Ram Charan for granted or not. She comes across several love stories of her friends which prove the points raised by Ram Charan. The movie reveals how the friction between them is ultimately solved.

Every artiste comes out with a stupendous performance and especially Ram Charan proved he would better suit as a lover boy too, different from ‘Magadheera’. Genelia, Prakash Raj, Prabhu, Manjula, Sanjay Swaroop and Brahmanandam excel well as usual befitting their stature.  Shazahn Padamsee also comes out with good performance, though her character is for a short duration.

In the entire movie, it is the action and dialogue of comedy king Brahmanandam that enthrall you most through his Puppy character.

The escape:

Director Bhaskar makes a great escape without answering the most important question on why Ram Charan keeps falling in love when he believes that love does not last long.

The songs are audible and melodious and can be listened to again and again but fighting scenes seem to be introduced for the sake of fights.

Whether it breaks the box office records or remains like any other ordinary movie of these days depends on how majority of the cine goers view it. Watch it if you like the hard facts of love in life as explained by Ram Charan.
