Mani Ratnam’s Next a Multi-starrer:- Veteran filmmaker Mani Ratnam has been out of track from the past few years. All his recent outings have been declared as massive debacles and it was only OK Bangaram which ended up as an average grosser. His last outing Cheliya has been badly rejected by the audience. The veteran filmmaker has been penning an interesting script and the script work has been wrapped up recently.
Natural Star Nani has been approached to play the lead role in the movie and the actor has been in talks for the movie. Nani earlier lent his voice for the lead role in OK Bangaram. Mani Ratnam and Nani wanted to team up for a film later but it did not work out. The latest news we hear is that the duo is in talks and the talks are in advanced stages. Nani is yet unclear about his dates and he will reveal it soon afer which the project will be announced officially.
The movie is said to be a multi-starrer and will feature many critically acclaimed South Indian actors. Veteran actress Jyothika has already been locked for the movie and Malayalam actor Fahadh Faasal is in talks. Tamil actor Vijay Sethupathi too has been asked to play a crucial role in the film. An official announcement will be out soon and the movie will start rolling early next year. Mani Ratnam’s home banner Madras Talkies will bankroll the project.
