It seems, 2016 has brought new life to Telugu cinema and that is the reason for such back to back hits of all the recently released movies.

Ram’s ‘Nenu Sailaja’ was released on January 1st and started the success journey, with the good success of the movie. That journey was shockingly continued by Ram Gopal Varma’s ‘Killing Veerappan’ movie too.

When several big movies are announced for release on Sankranthi, many speculated that, it would be tough to get success and share the collections.

But to the surprise, all four new movies - Soggade Chinni Nayana, Nannaku Prematho, Dictator, Express Raja, which are released for the festival, have secured good success at the box office.

Though Nannaku Prematho has started with the divided talk, the movie is now shaking the box office. Especially the overseas collections is making NTR fans, go to the could nine. Currently, after Mahesh Babu, NTR is in the second position, in terms of overseas collections.

Dictator, termed as the commercial success, is continuing its big run in all the released theatres. Express Raja, which was thought of getting sandwiched amidst of big movies, managed to gain positive talk and running comfortably.

While there are arguments on the success of all the Sankranthi releases, Nagarjuna’s Soggade Chinni Nayana, is away from all such mess, as universally, the movie is declared as the blockbuster.

It even secured the higher ratings, positive reviews from the movie critics, than other movies.

After Akhil’s debut disappointment, Soggade success delighted Akkineni family. One cannot deny, if I say, Soggade Chinni Nayana, is the 2016 Sankranthi winner.
