After a disaster like Linga, it seems to be like Rajini is more concerned about his career now. Regarding this, he is not in a position to take a chance again as the consequences, he faced from the Linga distributors are very tragic.

To avoid those again, Rajini is not allowing any senior director into his compound now. He is ready to offer a chance to the youngsters as they might catch the trend and give him a hit movie. This is even the idea behind calling Lawrence and involving in the discussions.

Before Lawrence, Rajini will be doing a film with another young director Ranjith. It is heard that the film's plot is a gangster's backdrop and so the movie unit thought that there would not be any requirement for the heroines. If that is true, then it would again be an experiment in Rajini's career, that too after a flop like Linga. So the intellectuals felt that, it is risky and so they are suggesting Rajini not to attempt it. But nothing is heard from Rajini till date, lets wait for his confirmation about the heroines issue in the film.
