Charulatha the Indian adaptation of the Thai film 'Alone,' is about the duels of the conjoined twins. In reality the film is all about the twins who are so similar in every aspect enjoy a harmony. But the plight starts with both of them falling for the same man. And the differences crop in and the entire plot is well woven after only one of the two will survive after the surgery to separate them.
Priyamani plays her best in both the characters, for her they might be two different roles but for the audience the variations is awesome. The credit for making the narration and the acting so powerful should be given to the Cinematography by P Selvam.
This portrayal is sure to fetch Pryamani many more awards, say analysts. Especially the change over of behavior after the surgery is a worthy element well enacted by Priyamani.
The silent Charu turns into a loud mouthed girl while Latha turns vice-versa. In spite of all this there is no identity crisis between the two, thanks to the actor's talent. (With inputs from internet-AW AarKay)
