And it turns true with industry analysts claiming that the film should have garnered a sweet Rs 10 Cr at the ticket counter, over Saturday and Sunday.
Released in around 600 theaters worldwide on August 31, 'Mugamoodi' (mask in Telugu) has maintained 100 percent occupancy in metros and 80-85 percent occupancy in other towns. That should be great for a film made in Rs 20 Cr.
The film earlier written off by critics, has picked up slowly, courtesy to its strong storyline backed by powerful narration and music by K was awesome, with the song "Vaaya moodi suma iru da" topping the charts.
The film about a real super hero who is exemplary in martial arts skills is on a mission to fight for justice. This concept seems to have gone well with the logic based society of the modern era. This super hero is not a super man who flies across and saves the falling train and so on. But this is about the man who with his brain and brawn would like to take on the evils and finally wins.
