Amir Khan is one such Actor in B – Town, who apart from his movies, is known for his friendly attitude with all other actors and film makers from the industry. Amir is friends with almost everyone. But, Amir upsets film maker Anurag Kashyap. It has been a year that a film starring Amir as a main lead was announced by Anurag. The film titled ‘Mumbai Velvet’ is based on the Novel that has focused Mumbai in 60s.
Amir who was impressed with Anurag’s idea of making this film, given his node, but asked the director to wait for some time. This lead to a year’s halt to start the shooting of the film. It seems Amir did not even respond to Anurag about the former’s availability to act in this film. Anurag who is upset with Amir, has decided to start the shooting of the film soon, without Amir, in it. ‘This is my dream project. I have waited for Amir’s availability for more than a year now. Till date I have not got any confirmation from his end. I have no clue weather Amir is interested in acting in this film or not. However, I can’t wait more long to start this film’, says Anurag.
As of now, other lead cast in this film has been finalized with Naseeruddin Shah, John Abhraham and Key Key Menon. Now, if not Amir, who will be playing the lead role, is yet to be announced by Anurag.
