More skeletons are rolling out of the cupboards of Bhanu Kiran, the suspected killer of the faction leader Maddelacheruvu Suri. As police are going deep into the cinema links of Bhanu Kiran as part of the investigations into Suri murder, they have come to know that he has collected huge amounts from some producers by selling away the call sheets of top heroines without their knowledge.
Bhanu, who has relations with two producers, came in contact with PAs of three top heroines of Tollywood and moved with them closely. In course of time, he reportedly sold away their call sheets to some producers without informing them and made lakhs of rupees in shape of collecting advances. The producers and the heroines came to know that they were taken for a ride by Bhanu when the producers met the heroines.
Noose tightening around Singanamala
Noose is tightening around film producer Singanamala Ramesh after his links with Bhanu Kiran were exposed. Police believe that Ramesh could improve his income by four hundred percent in a short span of four years with the backing of Bhanu.
Police say that Ramesh, who submitted his IT return for Rs.1.5 lakh in 2002, had shown his income as Rs.1.10 Cr in 2006. While this is his income as per the records, his actual income might be more than this, according to police.
The investigating officials also came to know that Ramesh used to borrow huge amounts from people and threaten them with dire consequences with the help of Bhanu when they ask their money back. There are dozens of cheque bounce cases pending against him in Anantapur district.
