Without assigning any reason, the US Consulate in Chennai has reportedly refused to grant Visas to the cast and crew of universal actor Kamal Hassan’s multilingual film ‘Viswaroopam’.
Our Chennai sources said that Kamal Hassan and director Selvaraghavan have planned a 40-day schedule of shooting in some locations in the US from the second week of April but visas were denied to most of them to their astonishment.
The US consulate is said to have granted visas only to a few members of the cast and crew of the film forcing the actor Kamal to postpone the shooting to a further date. Reports indicated that the team will apply again for the visas.
Director Selvaraghavan has decided to utilize the time to finish off his long pending project ‘Erandam Ulagam’ starring Dhanush and Andrea Jeremiah in the leads. It is likely to hit the screens in June.
