Hot Buzz learns that KS Ravi Kumar, the director of superstar Rajanikanth’s forthcoming film ‘Rana’ has approached the Goa beauty Ileana to play one of the female lead roles in the movie and the young heroine has reportedly okayed the project after being offered a record remuneration.
The news is that Ravi Kumar approached the actress after hot heroine Vidya Balan and Rekha have chosen to withdraw from the movie.
As Ileana had earlier refused to act along Rajani in another project ‘Sultan, the Warrior’, Ravi Kumar offered her a record remuneration for the role to ensure that she would not refuse. Ileana will now don the role offered to Vidya Balan.
Grapevine says that the role, earlier offered to Rekha, will now be donned by Dream girl Hema Malini. Deepika Padukone is also playing one of the lead roles in the movie for which the story is given by none other than the super star himself.
