6 T Cong MPs planning to quit for T state

Six congress MPs of the Telangana region are reportedly planning to quit Lok Sabha to put pressure on the congress party high command to announce the formation of Telangana Congress MPs of the T region state.

It might be mentioned that some congress MPs of the T region have joined the elements of T group in demanding the formation separate state and have recently resorted to indefinite fast demanding the withdrawal of cases filed against students as part of the Telangana movement.   They announced during the fasting programme they were also ready to tender their resignations to put more pressure on the Central government and congress high command to agree to the formation of Telangana.

The six Congress MPs, who have reportedly decided to resign, seem to be waiting for the budget session of parliament to find out whether or not the Centre would introduce the Telangana Bill. Sources close to the MPs said they would submit the resignation letters to the Speaker if no action is taken by the government during the budget session for formation of T state.
