Uppena Off To A Terrific Start:- Supreme Star Sai Dharam Tej's brother Vaisshnav Tej is making his debut with Uppena and the film is high on expectations. The film released in a record number of screens today and the openings are exceptional. The word of mouth too is completely positive and the first day numbers are expected to post a new record. Uppena was planned on a budget of Rs 8 crores but the final budget touched Rs 24 crores. The music album composed by Devi Sri Prasad is on the top of the music charts.

The film's theatrical rights are valued at Rs 22 crores and the film is expected to collect over Rs 15 crores in its opening weekend. Uppena would be named as the highest grosser for any Telugu debutant. Sukumar's protege Buchi Babu Sana made his directorial debut with Uppena and Vaisshnav Tej, Krithi Shetty, Vijay Sethupathi played the lead roles. Mythri Movie Makers bankrolled the movie and the advance sales for the film all over are exceptional.
