Uppena Digitial Rights Picked for a Record Price:- Uppena is one small film that generated enough buzz all over. The film marks the debut of Vaishnav Tej, the brother of actor Sai Dharam Tej. The film is directed by Buchi Babu Sana, a protege for Sukumar and is made on a budget of Rs 22 crores. Krithi Shetty is the heroine and Mythri Movie Makers produced Uppena. The film is high on expectations and the music album is a smashing hit and kept the expectations high on the film. Uppena was announced for summer 2020 release but it was pushed due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The makers sold off the digital rights of Uppena for a record price among the small movies. It is heard that the digital rights including all the languages fetched Rs 10 crores for the makers. Devi Sri Prasad composed the music and the digital streaming of Uppena will take place only after the film completes its theatrical run. The film is expected to hit the screens during summer 2021. An official announcement about the release date would be made soon.
