Tollywood: April Releases Unlikely:- The entire theatres and multiplexes across the country are shut. Telangana government announced a shut down even before the Centre took the move. The government of Andhra Pradesh was the last to order shut down of theatres, shopping malls and educational institutions. The theatres and shootings of Telugu films will be shut till March 31st and the further call would be taken after analysing the situations. With the number of coronavirus cases going high, the closure of theatres may be extended.

Several top filmmakers expressed that the lockdown would continue till the end of April till the situations come under control. Most of the filmmakers are well prepared and are not in a mood to rush. If things settle down, the shoots may start in May. All the films that completed shoot may release some time in May if the theatres get re-opened. As of now, everyone is waiting for the situations to come under control.
