When Rakul Preet Picked Nag Over Chaitanya:- Rakul Preet Singh is one of the most talented and hard working actresses of South Indian cinema. After she had her hands full of films in Tamil, the actress did not sign any Telugu film in the recent times. Rakul is keen on making her comeback with Venkatesh and Naga Chaitanya starrer Venky Mama. She is roped in to play the female lead besides Chaitanya. The regular shoot commenced recently and the makers replaced Rakul with Rashi Khanna which left many in shock.

Rakul was in talks to romance Chaitu's father Nagarjuna in his next romantic drama Manmadhudu 2. The actress was quite impressed with the way her character was designed and signed the film. The regular shoot of Manmadhudu 2 starts from March in Portugal and Rakul Preet plays Nagarjuna's wife in this romantic entertainer. Rahul Ravindran is the director and Annapurna Studios are the producers.

Rakul picked up Nagarjuna over Naga Chaitanya for her upcoming film.
