NTR - Mahanayakudu First Weekend Collections:- Nandamuri Balakrishna wanted the life story of his father NTR to be told on silver screen and he announced the biopic. The film was made in two parts: NTR - Kathanayakudu and NTR - Mahanayakudu. The first part that released during Sankranthi ended up as a disaster and the makers have been left shellshocked with the result. Making enough changes, NTR - Mahanayakudu released last Friday and as expected, the film received poor response from the audience.

NTR - Mahanayakudu collected a theatrical share of Rs 3.41 crores in three days across the globe which is quite low. NTR - Mahanayakudu is now one of the biggest disasters of Telugu cinema and the movie failed to register decent numbers over the weekend. The makers remained tightlipped and stayed away from promoting the film. NTR - Mahanayakudu has been offered for free for the distributors of NTR - Kathanayakudu. NBK Films produced the film and Vibri Media, Vaaraahi Chalana Chitram co-produced NTR - Mahanayakudu. Here are the three days collections areawise:
